Brevitrygon manjajiae is a stingray species of the family Dasyatidae for which limited biometric and ecological information is available. This study aimed to investigate morphometric characteristics, correlations among biological variables, and growth patterns of this species in the Persian Gulf. In 2024, a total of 43 specimens were collected from Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces. After transportation to the laboratory, biometric parameters including total length (TL), disc width (DW), disc length (DL), body length (BL), spiracle length (SL), spiracle width (SW), and body weight were measured. Data were analyzed using Spearman’s correlation, length–weight regression, and independent t-tests in SPSS version 24. The mean disc width and body weight were 167.06±38.15 mm and 183.29±96.21 g, respectively. The strongest correlation was observed between body weight and disc width (r = 0.982). Heatmap analysis further revealed that disc dimensions had the highest association with body weight, whereas spiracle-related traits showed weaker correlations. The length–weight relationship based on disc width exhibited a high coefficient of determination (R² = 0.990) and a growth coefficient of b = 3.22, indicating positive allometric growth. Morphometric measurements increased with maturity stage. Independent t-test results showed that only spiracle width differed significantly between males and females (p < 0.05). Overall, disc width was identified as the most important morphometric predictor of body weight in B. manjajiae. These findings provide valuable information for biological studies, stock assessment, and conservation management of stingrays in the Persian Gulf.
